our photos are stunning moments we want to relive over and over.
— Daniel, 2022 groom
We know this place because it's home.
After nearly a decade in Warburton, we've come to know the quiet stretches of river, the forest tracks, the little cafés worth lingering in, and the people whose work makes this corner of the Upper Yarra so special.
Together, we're a photographer, celebrant and florist. Friends and collaborators who believe getting married can be simpler than we're often led to believe. Less like a production and more like a day you'll genuinely enjoy.
We create the conditions for a wedding day that feels calm, personal and beautifully looked after.
We'll help you find a place that feels right, introduce you to some of our favourite local people, and gently support you as you shape a wedding that feels like your own.
Gathoni has been photographing people for more than twenty years. She likes people. All of them. The funny bits, the awkward bits, the tenderness, the chaos.
She knows how to match the mood of what's happening. She can be right in the middle of things when that's where the energy is, or step back and let something unfold.
Her own wedding was planned in a week. Plain silver rings, a broken-down taxi, a half-dead flower arrangement and a broken plastic chair at the Magistrates Court in Nairobi.
It was brilliant.
She has a soft spot for weddings with a bit of life in them. Beautiful things are welcome. So are children running off, someone saying something inappropriate at dinner, and plans going slightly sideways.
After twenty years of photographing weddings, she has no interest in polishing the life out of them.
No shot lists. No flat lays. No performing for the camera.
Give her something real to photograph.

After twenty years of photographing weddings, she has very little interest in making them more complicated than they need to be.
